Transactions Keep Dropping in June Throughout the Province of Quebec

According to data compiled by the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB), 8,127 transactions were recorded in the province of Quebec in June 2022, a decrease of 10 per cent. Active listings are up 3 per cent and new listings increased by 23 per cent compared to June 2021.

Plexes saw the largest increase in the median price, up by 19 per cent. Single-family homes increase by 16 per cent and condominiums by 13 per cent.

Here are the June 2022 median prices for a single-family home in the 6 CMAs along with the variation from June of last year.

  • Montréal : $570,000 (+12 per cent)
  • Gatineau : $460,000 (+15 per cent)
  • Québec : $356,000 (+16 per cent)
  • Sherbrooke : $370,500 (+12 per cent)
  • Saguenay : $242,950 (+8 per cent)
  • Trois-Rivières : $311,000 (+35 per cent)
