Find the duck on Centris.ca - Hockey 2026

Centris Corporation inc. (“Centris”) 600 chemin du Golf, Montréal, Québec H3E 1A8 Summary description of the contest The “Find the duck on Centris.ca – Hockey 2026” contest (the “Contest”) is organized by Centris. Centris has hidden a small purple duck, a visual example of which is provided at the end of the Rules (the “Duck”), in a photo of a property for sale on Centris.ca—the website and mobile app (the “Property”). Participants are invited to search for and find the Duck for a chance to win one (1) cash prize of CAD $2,500.00, plus an additional CAD $250.00 for every goal scored by the Montreal professional major league men’s hockey team (the “Montreal Team”) during the current playoff series against the Carolina professional major league men’s hockey team (the “Carolina Team”), in accordance with these Rules. The Contest is open from Thursday, May 21, 2026, until 12:00 p.m. EST on the day following the final official game of the Eastern conference finals between the Montreal Team and the Carolina Team (the “Contest Period”), which is the period during which eligible participants must submit the identification of the Property to Centris in the manner described herein. The draw will take place no later than two (2) business days following the expiration of the Contest Period.

Conditions of participation

1. Eligibility 

1.1  Subject to Section 1.2, this Contest is open exclusively to residents of Quebec who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

1.2  The following are NOT eligible:

• Employees and members of the respective boards of directors of Centris, the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB), and the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec, as well as the immediate family members of such employees and members;
• Real estate professionals with access to the Centris Zone, including real estate brokers; and
• The seller-owners and, where applicable, the occupants of the Property.

2. How to enter 

2.1  To participate in the Contest, you must:

1. Follow Centris on Instagram at centris.officiel;
2. Manually search for and find the Duck in a photo featured in the Property listing on Centris.ca (the website or mobile app) during the Contest Period; and
3. Access the link in the bio of Centris’ Instagram account leading to the website page at https://gleam.io/SLxtC/plus-de-2-500-a-gagner-trouve-le-petit-canard-mauve-sur-centrisca and fill out the official entry form (the “Entry Form”) there, indicating the mailing address of the Property, during the Contest Period.

3. Participation 

3.1  Only one entry per eligible person is permitted.

3.2  No purchase necessary.

4. Compliance with Centris.ca terms of use

4.1  The Centris.ca Terms of Use remain applicable in connection with this Contest.

4.2 The platform leading to the Entry Form, over which Centris has no control, may be governed by the terms of use and privacy policies specific to the third parties operating said platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring that such terms and policies are acceptable to you and for complying with them.

5. Prohibition on the use of automated or technological means 

5.1 The use of any tool, software, program, script, artificial intelligence, or other technical method for the purpose of identifying or locating the Duck or the Property is strictly prohibited.

5.2  Any attempt to use automated or technological means to locate the Duck or the Property which is brought to Centris’ knowledge will result in the immediate disqualification of the participant.

Prize and draw

6. Prize 

6.1  One (1) cash prize of CAD $2,500.00, plus an additional CAD $250.00 for each goal scored by the Montreal Team during the current playoff series against the Carolina Team, will be awarded in one (1) payment by check to one (1) winner (the “Prize”) following a random draw, in accordance with the following sections.

6.2 The Prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for any other goods or services.

7. Draw     

7.1  A random draw will be conducted no later than two (2) business days following the expiration of the Contest Period from among all participants who submitted an Entry Form (the “Draw”).

7.2 One (1) winner who has correctly identified the Property will be selected at random from among all participants in the Draw, subject to compliance with the terms of these Rules (the “Selected Participant”). Centris reserves the right to disqualify any incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent entry.

7.3 The odds of winning depend on the total number of participants.

8. Claiming the prize 

8.1 Centris will contact the Selected Participant by email and phone no later than two (2) business days following the Draw.

8.2 Subject to Section 8.3, the Selected Participant acknowledges and agrees that, in order to be declared the winner of the Prize:

• They must be following Centris' Instagram account, centris.officiel;
• They must have correctly identified the Property via the Entry Form, which must be duly completed;
• They must be reached by email or phone within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours following the transmission by Centris of an email notifying them that they have been selected to win the Prize;
• They allow Centris to conduct any verification deemed necessary by Centris regarding the Selected Participant’s eligibility or compliance with these Rules. To this end, Centris reserves the right to require the Selected Participant to provide any supporting documentation, including proof of identity, which the Selected Participant agrees to provide within the timeframes set by Centris, including via a Teams meeting; and
• The Selected Participant must provide certain personal information, including their first name, last name, email address, phone number, and home address, in order to receive the Prize.

8.3 If the above conditions are not met, or if Centris, in its sole discretion, determines that the Selected Participant was not eligible for the Contest or did not comply with these Rules, the Selected Participant will be automatically disqualified and will forfeit any right to the Prize. In such circumstances, Centris will conduct another random draw until a winner is determined; the Selected Participant acknowledges and agrees that they will have no recourse against Centris regarding the disqualification.

8.4 Provided that the conditions set forth above have been met and Centris, in its sole discretion, determines that the Selected Participant was eligible for the Contest and that these Rules have been complied with, the Selected Participant will be declared the winner of the Contest (the “Winner”).

8.5 The Winner acknowledges and agrees that Centris may use their first name, and with their consent, their photo or image, to announce on Centris' Instagram account, centris.officiel, that they have won the Contest.

Personal information

9. Use of personal information 

9.1 Personal information provided to Centris in connection with the Contest will be used by Centris solely for the purposes of the Contest.

9.2 Centris may engage certain service providers involved in the administration of the Contest to process personal information solely for that purpose.

9.3 Any personal information submitted to Instagram will be processed as described in Instagram’s own terms and policies. Centris shall in no event be held liable for any processing of personal information submitted by participants to Instagram.

General terms and conditions

10. Change of location of the duck     

10.1 In the event that the Property listing must be removed from Centris.ca, Centris reserves the right to select another property for the Contest. In such a case, Centris also reserves the right to change the Contest Period.

10.2 Centris will notify participants of any such change, if applicable, via its Instagram account, centris.officiel.

11. Disclaimer of liability - Centris   

11.1 Under no circumstances shall Centris and its shareholders, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, partners, franchisees, or representatives (“Representatives”) be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, or incidental damages, losses, or harm of any kind arising directly or indirectly from the Contest. By participating in the Contest, participants fully release Centris and its Representatives from any liability in this regard and waive any claim, demand, or cause of action against Centris or its Representatives in connection with the Contest.

11.2 This Contest will be conducted in accordance with these Rules, which may be modified by Centris at its sole discretion. Centris will notify participants of any such changes, if applicable, via its Instagram account, centris.officiel.

11.3 Centris reserves the right to cancel, modify, or postpone the Contest for any reason beyond its control.

12. Instagram (Meta) disclaimer  

12.1  By participating in the Contest, each participant acknowledges and agrees that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, nor is it associated with Instagram, and hereby releases Instagram from any and all liability related to the conduct of this Contest.

13. Acceptance of contest rules  

13.1 Participants are required to comply with these Rules.

13.2 These Rules are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the Province of Quebec, and any dispute arising herefrom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.

13.3 Any participant who attempts to circumvent these Rules or interfere with the Contest may be disqualified without notice.

13.4 Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Rules.

13.5 In the event of any inconsistency between the English and the French versions of these Rules, the French version shall prevail.
